	RI Award By: Cynthia Green

Rotary International recently awarded its 2018-19 Presidential Citation with Platinum Distinction to the Dothan Rotary Club. This award is presented to clubs who met/exceeded strategic goals and activities. Past RI President Barry Rassin acknowledged, “This Citation is awarded to the Rotary Club of Dothan for helping Rotary be the inspiration in the lives of people all over the world.”Additionally, the Rotary Foundation presented the Dothan Rotary Club a certificate of appreciation for its financial support of End Polio Now: Countdown to History Campaign. Together, we will fulfill our promise to the children of the world and eradicate polio. Both awards were presented to Dothan Rotary at the District 6880 Mid-Year Conference in Fairhope on January 11. Attending were Club President Cynthia Green, Secretary Amy Schutz, Outlaw Club Officer and District Rotaract Chair Adam Williams, 2021-22 District Governor Nominee Bruce McNeal and the newly elected 2022-22 District Governor Dell Goodwin.Thanks, Cynthia
