Foster Children and Angel Tree Children Club Project

Each year the members of the Dothan Rotary Club purchase Christmas presents for Foster children.  This year, Rosemary McKibben, Board Member and Project Officer, also coordinated with the Salvation Army to provide children’s gifts for families that the Salvation Army is assisting.  Rotarians are provided a wish list and sizes for clothing and shoes.

Each Rotarian purchases gifts for the child that they are given and marks them with the proper code since we do not know the names of the children. The gifts are brought to the designated drop off location to be distributed. For many of these children, this is the only Christmas that they will receive.
