No Rotary Meeting - President’s Day

As the representative from Rotary District 6880, I have the privilege of joining 25 other Rotarians from around the country, on February 13th , to travel to Caborca, Mexico to participate in an international Immunization Day where we will be administering Polio drops to children in the surrounding villages.Also, multiple Rotary Districts are joining hands again this year in our “Heart to Heart” global grant project where District 6880 will be donating a $1,000 toward this this year’s Global project.Another element during this humanitarian trip is to support the Caborca Children’s Medical Fund.Over the years we have seen children who have benefitted that have had crippling physical deformities corrected, lifesaving surgery, and debilitating allergies diagnosed and treated among many other medical services and treatments provided.We have been asked to seek donations from our local Clubs and community to support this effort.I will be personally presenting our donations directly to representatives of the Caborca Children’s Fund. If you would like to support this cause, write your check to Dr. Martin L. Mendez and on the memo line write The Caborca Children’s Medical Fund.Cash will also be accepted. 	Rotary Miracle Field Foundation Golf and Bocce Ball Tournament By: Nathan Wallace

Greetings fellow Rotarians!On Monday, March 16th, we are scheduled to have our Second Miracle Field Foundation Golf and Bocce Tournament at the Dothan Country Club. The schedule is as follows:10:30am-11:30am-check-in table open11:00am-12pm-Lunch in the ballroom (where we ate last year and where Tues Club eats)12pm-Golf Shotgun12pm-Bocce tournament startsPrizes and Awards will be after each event is finishedon the patio near the Bocce CourtsThere will be a cash bar near the Bocce Courts also.I strongly encourage EVERY Rotarian to help make this event wonderful. You can do this by:1. Participating as a golfer or Bocce baller.2. Purchasing a hole sign or sponsorship for your business3. Donating your time to help with the event4. Donating prizes (gift cards, coupons to your business or a business you have a connection with).5.
